The location was lovely and beautiful, within a close distance from Jacobs Ladder. The room was beautifully presented and well-equipped, I enjoyed it.

the location is lovely, within easy walking distance of the byes riverside park. the rooms are modern and spotless, have spotless bathroom. the staff is being very efficient and extremely helpful.

Great stay with a few hiccups!

I stayed here for a night and really loved the vibe of the place. The staff were super nice, and breakfast was a treat! But the noise from the room above was quite annoying. Still, I'd recommend it for the cozy atmosphere and good food.

Absolutely loved my stay! The food was fantastic, especially the delicious Caesar Salad, and the luxurious touches in my room made it feel like a true treat.

We loved exploring the charming East Budleigh and relaxing at Jacob's Ladder beach. The hotel was the perfect spot for our getaway, with comfy rooms and excellent service. The breakfasts were great!

Unfortunately, we lost a cosmetic bag upon check-out. While the hotel returned it, some expensive items were missing, disappointing.

The Hotel Riviera boasts beautiful decor throughout. The communal areas are inviting, well-maintained, and easily accessible.

I previously stayed in sidmouth and decided to return to this hotel, which completely exceeded my expectations this summer. The staff's friendliness and attention to detail really stood out, especially with their good gestures like personalised greetings. Our sea view room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, providing an very nice ambiance for a relaxing holiday.

A Good Stay with Really good Service

Enjoyed a special birthday getaway with my partner. Dined on exquisite meals nightly, with each dish surpassing expectations. Don't miss the seafront view. It's worth waking up early to appreciate!

I really loved my stay, especially enjoying the amazing crab salad and the refreshing non-alcoholic cocktails. The beach access and the sun terrace were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The only hiccup was the creaky floors from above that kept me up a bit, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. 🌊

The upgrade to a sea view room was a good surprise, providing fine views throughout my stay. Immaculately decorated and clean, the room felt luxurious and inviting. The friendly staff, especially Anthony, were helpful, turning what could have been challenges into seamless solutions with their warm hospitality. The food was also enjoyable, particularly the refreshments available.

The attentive service at this traditional hotel created a nice experience, with staff consistently addressing guests by name and offering a warm welcome. Dining was really good. A sumptuous breakfast with fresh fish options was personally served, highlighting the emphasis on quality and presentation. Although the ambiance was charming, reflecting classic elegance, the overall experience felt slightly overshadowed by the high prices, which might deter budget-conscious travelers.

Great beach access and friendly staff, but Wi-Fi was spotty in the rooms.

I had such a fantastic stay, enjoying a lovely meal on the gorgeous sun terrace and unwinding in the cozy leisure room while reading a book. The place is perfect for relaxation with beachfront access, though the breakfast could have had a wider selection. Don't forget to ask for the special seafood dish at dinner. it’s a must-try! 😊
